Getting started

Join your company’s production

Use the invitation from your production office.

Read the steps
  1. Open the Flash invitation link from your production office. If you have already downloaded the app, choose Get started and paste the link.
  2. Check the production title and role shown on the invitation. Sign in or create your login, then accept the invitation.
  3. If the invitation is expired, withdrawn or shows the wrong role, ask your administrator for a new one. Creating another company workspace will not give you access to this production.
Getting started

Set up a production company

For the administrator responsible for a new company workspace.

Read the steps
  1. Choose Set up your production company from Get started, then create your administrator login.
  2. Enter the company name, first project, format and your production role. Confirm that you are authorised to administer the company.
  3. After setup, use All work to find your available tools. Invite your team with the right project roles. Company ownership and a production role are separate responsibilities.
Daily work

Read your project dashboard

Understand the phase, next shoot day and recorded progress.

Read the steps
  1. Home identifies your current project and its production phase. Check the project name before updating records.
  2. Requirement confirmations show how many recorded department requirements are confirmed. They do not measure how much of the film is complete.
  3. Use your role shortcuts to open your work. If a record has not been entered, Flash shows it as unrecorded. Use Refresh to request an updated overview.
Daily work

Find your next call sheet

Check the schedule and the material shared with you.

Read the steps
  1. On Home, look for Next shoot day. Open the call sheet if your role includes Schedule, or the sides shared with your role.
  2. No upcoming shoot day means a future shoot day has not been recorded in Flash. Ask production when the schedule will be available.
  3. Check dates and the production title before relying on a document. On an unreliable connection, verify that the screen has refreshed before acting on a change.
Devices & access

Location, microphone and camera

Understand why a feature needs a device permission.

Read the steps
  1. Flash asks for a device permission when you use a feature that needs it. You do not need to enable every permission just to sign in.
  2. Attendance and driver location sharing need location access. Voice features need microphone access. Capturing images needs camera access.
  3. Review permission controls in Settings. If the operating system has blocked a permission, change it in the device’s app settings. Feature availability varies by platform.

Use a calmer dashboard

Reduce visible detail without losing access to your work.

Read the steps
  1. Choose Focus on Home to hide secondary dashboard details. Your main role shortcut and next shoot day stay visible.
  2. Choose Overview to restore the full dashboard. This preference is saved for this user and project in this browser when storage is available.
  3. Use your device’s Reduce Motion setting to limit interface animation. Help remains available and the setup guide can be replayed.

Sign out or manage your account

Find account controls without leaving your work unfinished.

Read the steps
  1. Open your avatar or Settings from All work. Sign out is at the top of Settings.
  2. Settings also contains account details, connected logins and the account deletion route.
  3. If you are signed in but have no production access, the welcome screen still offers Sign out and Delete account. For support, contact aa@opmcinemas.com.
